- 22 Jun 1933 Charles Bright & M.J.Roach awarded the Association’s Meritorious Award in Bronze for rescue off Nobbys Beach
- 21 Feb 1937 Ben Gillett & Stan Hart awarded the Royal Humane Society of NSW Certificate for rescue in huge seas off Nobbys Beach. The Nobbys Open Men’s Surf Boat Crew of L.White, R.Saddler, A.Allison, J.Straiton & J.McCluskey received a Certificate of Merit for their part in this rescue
- 1953 Ron Gibbs recognized for rescuing soldiers from capsized amphibian craft off Stockton bight
- 1955 Nobbys SLSC Men’s Open Boat Crew recognized by Maitland City Council for their part in rescuing people and property during the Maitland Floods
