Nobbys SLSC offers a range of training courses. Information will be made available in the newsletter emailed to members about course information nights.
Surf Rescue Certificate
The Surf Rescue Certificate provides participants with the knowledge of basical patrolling and surf awareness in order to be able to participate in lifesaving operations. This course is also the minimum water safety qualification for junior activity supervision.

Bronze Medallion
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge of basic patrolling and surf awareness in order to be able to participate in lifesaving operations.
Course start dates to be advised. Generally 5:30pm to 7:30pm (Induction). Bring Pen, any people over 18 years of age will need the WWC number. Please see information under becoming a member for how to apply for a WWC number. SRCs updating to a bronze will need to bring along their SRC Folder with Review Questions.

Inflatable Rescue Boat Crew Certificate
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively crew an inflatable rescue boat in surf rescue operations.
Silver Medallion Inflatable Rescue Boat Driver
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively drive and manage an inflatable rescue boat in surf rescue operations.
Spinal Management
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to manage injured casualties with suspected spinal injuries in an aquatic environment and in emergency situations.
Silver Medallion Basic Beach Management (Patrol Captains)
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and experience to manage a beacn in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Course start dates to be advised. Generally 6pm start time at HSLS Branch office
Pain Management Certificate
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to carry and administer Methoxyflurane.
Radio Operators Certificate
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to perform basic communication practices.
