Nobbys’ members are required to be financial by the 31st of October. Any member who has not renewed their membership by the 31st of October will have their membership automatically archived by Surf Lifesaving NSW and therefore be unable to: Enter the clubhouse, enter the Gym, be on Patrol or participate in any surf sports training or club activities.
Skills Maintenance (Patrol Proficiencies)
All surf lifesavers are required to complete all aspects of skills maintenance by December 31st, this includes the online proficiency modules and the associated assessment tasks as well as the regular Run/Swim/Run, rescues, CPR, signals etc. Those who are not proficient after 31 December will be unable to be involved in any club activities until next year’s proficiencies.
This season proficiencies will be especially problematic, given not only the ever-changing COVID rules but the mandatory requirement for every patrolling member to be trained in the CPR HLTAID009 Resuscitation Certificate.
The Nobbys education team are keen to proceed with this training asap but we need your help, only double vaxxed members can train or be trained currently so we need you to send in proof (by email to firstname.lastname@example.org) of your Covid19 digital certificate. Note members under 16 don’t have to be double vaxxed but will need to be trained outdoors.
