Surf Sports
To enable life savers to practice their skills and to keep them physically fit, the surf life saving movement conduct regular carnivals during the summer months and competition is a significant part of the Surf Club’s activities.
The activities available to competitors include surf boat rowing, board paddling, surf ski paddling, surf swimming, beach sprinting and flag events and Inshore Rescue Boat (IRB) competition. As well as the above-mentioned sports, there are also competitions held in all facets of life saving including first aid and resuscitation.

Nobbys Saturday Sizzling Seniors and Old Birds on Boards
Anyone over the age of 18 with a Bronze Medallion at Nobbys is invited to attend Saturday Seniors at 7:30m on Saturday mornings. Meet at the Boatshed. You must have a pink rash vest. We spend 2 hours board paddling, ski, swimming and doing general fitness and surf skills. Some Nobbys members also paddle skis during the week in the mornings.
